Electronic Security Project Technician

Join a team specializing in the design and implementation of complex security projects in French-speaking Switzerland. Since 2004, STVS has been supporting its clients in IP video surveillance, access control, intercom systems, video analytics, building management systems, and systems integration. As part of the development of our technical team, we are looking for someone capable of managing multi-technical projects from start to finish.

Technical environments

IP video surveillance and VMS – Access control and door technology
Intercom and security communication – Hypervision, PSIM and event management
Networks, servers and integrations – Video analytics, AI and third-party systems

Desired profile

You are independent, organized, and solution-oriented. You enjoy teamwork and working in various environments.

• Technical training at the CFC level, ES technician, Bachelor's degree or equivalent in electronics, electrotechnics.,
  industrial computing, telecommunications or similar field
• Good understanding of IP networks: TCP/IP, VLAN, basic routing, cybersecurity and diagnostics
• Experience in project management, the building trades, and coordinating external stakeholders
• Excellent ability to formalize requirements, write technical documents, and communicate with
  diverse audiences
• Valid driver's license and work permit in Switzerland

Essential prerequisite

These criteria will be verified during the review of applications:

• At least 5 years of professional experience in electronic security systems, with an activity
  significant in technology and project management
• A minimum of 3 named manufacturer certifications, valid or kept up to date, covering at least three
  distinct ecosystems of enterprise-level security solutions used in French-speaking Switzerland
• Proven multi-technical expertise in security: video surveillance, access control, intercom and/or
  hypervision-PSIM
• Fluent French is essential. English or German is an asset. Examples of relevant certifications: Axis Communications, Commend, Octave Coda Video, Milestone XProtect.,
  GENETEC Security Center, LenelS2 OnGuard, Advancis WinGuard or comparable enterprise-level solutions.

An important advantage

At least 5 years of experience within an integrator or security company based in French-speaking Switzerland will be particularly appreciated, especially for knowledge of the local area, site practices and the expectations of clients in the region.

Your tasks

• Understanding, analyzing, and formalizing the needs of users and project managers
• Designing multi-technical solutions adapted to operational, safety, and other constraints.

• Prepare studies, descriptions, technical files, estimates, requests for proposals and validation presentations
• Coordinate suppliers, integrators, companies and other stakeholders throughout the project
• Plan and monitor interventions, site access, authorizations, and security requirements.
• To verify the conformity and quality of the services provided in relation to the validated solution.
• Participate in testing, commissioning, diagnostics and problem solving
• To ensure administrative follow-up, traceability of decisions, and the drafting of detailed reports.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of safety procedures, standards and architectures
