STVS: 20 years of technical audacity and field precision

2004: laying the foundations, doing things differently
Founded in 2004 in Geneva, STVS was built on a strong conviction: to do things differently. No fixed catalog, no fixed solution. A careful listening to the field, applied precision, a craftsman's approach to IP video surveillance, still emerging at the time. Very early on, the company chose to control the entire chain, to develop its video surveillance software (ProVision), to assemble its own servers, to test each configuration before integration.
It wasn't a luxury, but a commitment: to guarantee interoperability, security, and reliability. Two decades later, this philosophy hasn't changed. STVS remains a laboratory of applied use. Every configuration, every client, every site teaches it something. And it only integrates what it truly understands.
Two founders, one shared vision
Behind STVS, there is first and foremost a story of friendship. That of Olivier Revillard and Antoine Ody, who grew up in the same region, with the desire to create something concrete, stable, and fair. A company that reflects their style, both demanding and caring. From the outset, they shared the same approach to the business: taking things seriously, without taking themselves seriously; staying close to the realities on the ground, but always being technically ahead; building lasting, human, and solid relationships.
This founding duo instills a calm, structured, and collective energy. No posturing, no overpromising: a genuine presence, day after day, alongside clients and teams. It's this sincere and committed approach that has shaped STVS's DNA. A way of working that has endured over the years without losing its intensity, and that inspires a desire to do good—together.
Relationship as a foundation for growth
We maintain long-term relationships of trust—with our partners, our suppliers, and our teams. This culture of direct and respectful dialogue allows us to anticipate needs, avoid disruptions, and build sustainable solutions. More than a service provider, STVS often becomes an extension of the teams it supports, with presence, reliability, and kindness.
In a sector often under pressure, this stability is surprising. But it's reassuring. And it's paying off. In 2024, more than 65% of projects were completed with clients they'd already supported. This figure says it all: we're moving forward together. Growth isn't a race, but a shared progression, at the pace of the field.
2025 and beyond: a lucid strategy, intact convictions
The year 2025 marks not a turning point, but rather a continuation. STVS is evolving consistently, true to its technical convictions, its curiosity, and its proximity to the field. A new identity, a new site, a strengthened team, and a greater commitment to training: the fundamentals are reaffirmed and adapted to today's challenges.
At the same time, we're ramping up our efforts on key topics: cybersecurity, embedded analytics, cloud computing, and IT/OT convergence. These challenges aren't new. But they're becoming more central to how we design and integrate. To better protect, better anticipate, and better support. Remaining a precision assembler, a careful observer, and a useful partner: this is what drives us.
Loyalty, an active posture
Since 2004, we have been moving forward with the same principles: to support rather than deliver, understand before configuring, remain present after installation. Our loyalty is not passive. It is nourished by connection, care, and follow-up. Being useful, truly. Being there, for a long time.
STVS designs, assembles, and deploys innovative, custom-built video surveillance solutions optimized for critical environments and complex needs. We develop hybrid architectures capable of interfacing with leading VMS systems, access control systems, intercom systems, and PSIM platforms. Our teams configure the equipment, test each configuration, provide remote maintenance, and intervene in the field as needed. Yes, but...
But our added value goes further: we train users, we support operators, and we provide clear documentation. We remain present over the years to ensure the stability of installations, anticipate technological developments, and adapt systems to operational realities. It is in this constant presence that our commitment is best expressed. And if we are still here, twenty years later, it is because this loyalty—to our profession, to our customers, to our way of doing things—continues to make sense.
